Message from Cabana Club South Board of Directors

Dear Neighbors:

We are looking forward to another great season this summer. Your Board has been hard at work year-round to keep our club a neighborhood treasure and great value for our members. Here are some of the changes you may have noticed over the past few years and some updates for 2022:

  • The Senior membership option (for individual members age 60+) will now be an Individual membership for adults, ages 18 and up.

  • Added four new picnic tables, including one with ADA-compliant seating.

  • Updated website and online payments.

  • Early morning lap swim (during summer hours) is back for 2022.

  • Social events, including pizza and ice cream social nights, for members only are planned again for 2022 after being on pause during COVID-19 restrictions*.

  • Party rentals will be back during the regular season*.

  • Our reservation system will continue to be implemented to enhance contact tracing capabilities to keep our staff and members safe. Reservations will be for the entire day and there is no need to reserve a specific time slot.

Dues for the 2022 season for a General Membership will be $495.  The membership fee allows you and all members of your household to use the pool, clubhouse and facilities from Memorial Day weekend through the end of September. The dues for an Individual (formerly Senior) membership will be $250 for the season.

The membership dues have increased from last year to account for rising costs in utilities and pool maintenance as well as the increase in the minimum wage. Please note, we did not increase membership dues in 2020 and only raised dues by $5 in 2021. In addition, given the uncertainty of an ongoing pandemic and hazardous air quality during the potential fire season this year, refunds will not be granted past May 20, 2022.

Members are invited to attend our many members-only social events throughout the summer*.  We think it's a great value for family recreation and entertainment.
