What's New This Year?

We are planning more social activities and family fun events. Check our our Events Page for some of what's headed your way in 2012.

Many of you have asked for extra hours on weekdays, so Cabana Club will open at 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the summer.

Let us know if you would be interested in water fitness classes or kids water polo classes. These would have a small additional cost to pay for instructors and equipment.  If we get enough interest, we'll can organize these events

How to Join...

Memberships for the 2012 season are now on sale. With our online registration system, you manage your own contact information, pay securely with credit card or Paypal, and are registered right away.

General memberships are $350 for a season family membership for one household. (Open Memorial Day weekend through the end of September).  There's a full summer of swimming, social events, fun and friends waiting for you at the Cabana Club South!

Swim Lessons

We offer group and private lessons in two week sessions throughout the summer.  You don't have to be a club member, but members get discounted rates and priority for registration.

About Us...

Greenhaven Cabana Club South is a community swimming pool for members and their guests. The club is located in the Greenhaven-Pocket neighborhood of Sacramento but membership is open to all.  

Opening Day for the 2012 season is Friday, May 25 and the club is open until the last weekend in September. See the links for more information about schedule and activities.

There are two levels of memberships. Our most popular is the General Membership which allows all members of your household to use the club and attend social events during our normal operating hours for the full season. Guest passes are available for friends and other family members. We also offer a Senior Membership for members over the age of 55. Note that the senior membership is for one person, not all members of a household.

Certified lifeguards are on duty during club hours. In addition to a heated pool, there are kitchen facilities, a covered arbor for parties, Weber charcoal barbecues, vending machines, ping pong tables, volleyball, tetherball, chairs and picnic tables. Several family fun nights are scheduled throughout the summer including Pizza Night, Movie Night, and an Ice Cream Social.
